Of over three hundred photos here are only a few. I would loooove to upload a ton but the connection here is sooooo slow!
Just to get these few up it took a few hours....with swimming, painting of pottery and a coffee thrown it.
But what I really wanted to say is that we are here, yay!
The kids loved flying so that made the trip down a lot easier than I expected.
Once off the plane though it was chaos! I had forgotten how crazy and loud the airport and customs was here.
And then to get to the cab past all the all inclusive and timeshare sales people yelling and waving in the lobby.
A few things have changed since the last time we were here.
The last time it was a romantic and beautiful getaway.
This time it is a little different. We have one child who wants to stay on the beach all day long digging and plowing the sand with his trucks and tractors.
And then we have another child who wants to be in the pool the whole time.
So rather than it being romantic it is well, different.
Family time.
I do have a lot to share and stories and the photo's, there are so many. But a big post will have to wait until I can find a faster connection.
One thing though, sleeping has been interesting. My feet swelled like crazy on the flight down despite my getting up and walking around and stretching and that first night I had to sleep on my side with my feet propped up.
Can you imagine how hard that is?
Picture a huge whale and ....never mind. Needless to say sleep was not happening that night.
Last night was better though, the swelling had gone down and sleep was amazing!
Now we are off to a BBQ for lunch.
Up next should be stories of grocery shopping, beach vendors and pottery painting.
So long as I get that connection!
Oh, and don't worry, I wont be taking any public buses anywhere this trip.
I have a feeling that buses with no shocks + cobble stone streets might = labour.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can feel the warmth coming out of your photos and if I stare at the Palapa long enough I can almost feel like I am lying beneath it. Have a wonderful, wonderful time. And stick your feet in the pool, it always helped me with the swelling :).
