"Mom I need the mate-up''

What she really means is make-up. (we are working on the 'k' sound still)

 This has been an obsession of late and it is rather funny to watch. 

Kaitlyn plops down in her room on the floor with a bag of make-up and a mirror.

She lathers on layer upon layer of different lipsticks and glosses, dabs her cheeks with eye shadow, slathers lotion on her legs and sweeps her hair to one side.

This time she found a set of old lashes from a dress up party and asked me to help stick them on.

Then she looks in the mirror.

"Oh, mommy, pretty!"

Wink, wink, she bats her lashes at me and says....

"Cheese mommy."
