Ah, here are the final plans for the lake house with all the dimensions down to the tee. Except the island, I cannot figure out how to make the counter lip out so I can put stools on one side, but that is the real plan!
You can click on the image above to see it larger but it is just one large picture of smaller ones that I pulled together when I was editing.
And here is the stage we are at in the reno.
Well, I should say were at or Dave is at or was at. By the end of today the whole front of the house will be gone!
And here it is framed for the windows that we ordered yesterday!
My husband is amazing!

That's going to be amazing!! Can I make my reservation for next summer now?

You are going to have so much fun with this!
SAAAAWWWWEEETTT.
I need that program to design my kitchen. :)
Love it! So, about the island and seating, I'm assuming it's a dilema because you want to have storage on both sides but don't want the stools to be in the way of storage access. What about using open shelving and baskets on the side of the island that faces away from the kitchen, and putting the lip on that side? At least that way you could have both storag and seating and not have to worry about moving stools to open cupboard doors. It would also add some interest to the cabinetry. Not sure how close the pillar is to the island, though.
It is going to be so amazing! Yay!
It's gonna be AMAZING! WOW! I'm so excited for you all. :D
